Pothos Manjula

Pothos Manjula

Botanical Name: Epipremnum aureum ‘Manjula’
Common Name: Pothos Manjula

🌿 Description

Manjula is the artsy one in the pothos family. Wide, heart-shaped leaves swirl with creamy white, silver, soft green, and deeper emerald — and no two leaves ever look the same. The edges are slightly wavy, giving it that relaxed, effortlessly stylish vibe.

It trails beautifully from shelves or hanging baskets, but can also climb if given support. If you love plants that feel a little extra (in the best way), Manjula delivers.

☀️ Light

Thrives in bright light with an indirect view of the sky.
It will tolerate medium light, but brighter indirect light keeps the variegation crisp and creamy. Avoid direct sun — those pale sections can scorch.

💧 Water

Water thoroughly, then allow the soil to dry about 50% before watering again.
Pothos prefer to dry slightly between waterings. Overwatering is the fastest way to make this beauty pout.

🌡 Temperature & Environment

  • Happy in normal indoor temperatures (65–80°F).

  • Average household humidity is just fine.

  • Keep away from cold drafts.

🌱 Soil

Use a well-draining indoor potting mix. Drainage holes are a must — Manjula likes moisture, not marshland.

🐾 Pet Safety

Not pet-safe. Keep out of reach of curious pets.

✂️ Maintenance

  • Trim vines to encourage fullness.

  • Rotate occasionally for even growth.

  • Easily propagated from healthy nodes in water or soil.

🌿 Fleurish Tip

If the variegation starts looking more green than creamy, the light first. Manjula needs brightness to keep that marbled magic. More indirect light = more drama (the good kind).
