Meet Sara-Lynn
Hi, Iâm Sara-Lynnâthe owner, Houseplant CEO, and resident Plant Fairy Godmother behind Fleurish Plant Care.
My plant journey began during a season when I needed more peace, purpose, and life around me. A few houseplants quickly became a growing collection, a passion for learning, and eventually a greenhouse built with plenty of love, determination, and help from my husband and family.
What began as something personal grew into a full-time business centered on helping other people experience the confidence, connection, and joy that plants brought into my own life.
Helping People and Plants Fleurish
Fleurish Plant Care is more than an online plant shop. We provide thoughtfully selected houseplants, practical plant-care education, personalized consultations, repotting and plant-sitting services, subscriptions, workshops, and our one-of-a-kind Plant Bingo events.
Whether youâre an experienced collector or convinced you have a black thumb, you are welcome here. Plant care should feel understandable and enjoyableânot intimidating or judgmental.
Iâve dealt with pests, root rot, overwatering, underwatering, stubborn plants, dramatic plants, and plants that appeared determined to test my sanity. Those experiences helped me develop the practical approach I now share with the Fleurish Fam.
Our Greenhouse & Shiphouse
Located in North Prince George, Virginia, our private greenhouse is where the Fleurish story took root. It remains a special place for plant care, education, content creation, consultations, photography, and small plant-filled experiences.
As our plants grow, many eventually outgrow the greenhouse and move into our dedicated Shiphouse. This larger working space is where much of our plant inventory lives and where our staff helps care for, inspect, and prepare plants for shipping.
Together, the greenhouse and Shiphouse give us the spaceâand the helping handsâneeded to care for our growing collection and make sure plants are properly prepared before beginning their journey to a new home.
Why âFleurishâ?
Yes, Fleurish is spelled differentlyâand that is completely intentional.
The name combines our mission of helping people and plants flourish with my love of the fleur-de-lis and New Orleans. It represents growth, resilience, personality, and finding beauty even during lifeâs messier seasons.
Around here, we donât expect perfection. We learn, adjust, laugh at the occasional plant disaster, and keep growing.
