Description

Calathea ‘Beauty Star’ is a striking tropical houseplant known for its long, elegant leaves marked with bands of light green, deep green, and creamy-white striping. The undersides of the foliage often bring in rich burgundy tones, giving this plant plenty of visual interest from every angle.

Like other prayer plants, the leaves naturally move throughout the day in response to changing light, making Beauty Star feel especially lively in a plant collection.

🌤️ Light: Give your Beauty Star Calathea a bright to medium indirect view of the sky. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which can scorch or fade the foliage.

💧 Water: Water when the soil is approximately 25% dry. Calatheas prefer their soil to stay consistently lightly moist without becoming soggy.

💦 Humidity: Beauty Star appreciates moderate to higher humidity. Keeping it away from heating vents, air-conditioning drafts, and especially dry areas can help prevent crispy leaf edges.
