The Walking Iris is a unique tropical perennial known for its elegant, sword-like foliage and stunning orchid-like blooms in shades of white, blue, and violet. Its name comes from its fascinating growth habit—after flowering, new plantlets form at the ends of the flower stalks. As they become heavier, the stalk bends to the ground where the plantlet can root, appearing to "walk" across the garden.
